Dublin Pre NCT check

Me and my husband were on our way home. Then we were kind of passing through a mechanic shop. So we thought about checking our car by them if there were any repairing needed or not. After checking it they suggested us that we can do a Dublin Pre NCT Check if we want. So we were curious by the term itself and told them to do that. They told us it is necessary to check whether our tyres were in good shape or not and other things were in right situation or not.
